Fresian Games
From Irish Roleplaying and Gaming Wiki
Fresian Games was formed mid-1993 by three interested gamers (Silja Sample, Dave Johnson and Nick Huggins) as a "fun" alternative to the IGA.
Membership was one punt, for which members got a membership card, and a discount with Virgin Megastore in Dublin (when it was on the quays.)
Fresian Games organised the MooCon convention in September 1995 in Buswell's Hotel on Molesworth Street, attended by approximately a hundred gamers. They spoke briefly about designing a role-playing game to be called "Chrysalis" which was abandoned when the organisational group broke apart. Fresian Games operated for approximately one year.
