The North Wexford Gamers are a small but very active wargaming club based in north Wexford and Dublin. Players meet regularly to play Warhammer Fantasy Battle and Warhammer 40k.
Known for being a social lot, the NWGers travel regularly to tournaments, competitions and conventions and often arrange days out with other clubs. Prominent members include Nigel Kavanagh, Derek Mitchell, Patrick O'Sullivan and Fergus Byrne. The North Wexford Gamers provided three players on the Irish Warhammer team that competed in the 2009 European Team Championships in Münster, Germany and Nigel Kavanagh is the captain of the Irish Warhammer team for 2010.
The North Wexford Gamers produce a podcast[1] which is released on an irregular basis through iTunes.
